Former Bosnian Serb army leader Ratko Mladic nicknamed the Butcher of Bosnia was upheld life sentence in the appeals court at The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) in The Hague, Netherlands. The court found Mladic guilty of committing crimes against humanity, violating the laws and customs of war, in addition to Srebrenica genocide in 1995. According to verdict, genocide was not committed in the cities of Foca, Vlasenica, Kljuk, Sanski Most, Kotor and Prijedor.
