Equipment production continues for the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NGS), which will be Turkey’s first nuclear power plant. An operation to open the raw pipe for the construction of the reactor base of the 3rd unit of the power plant was carried out at the Volgodonsk branch of AEM-Technology, which is part of the engineering department of the Russian State Atomic Energy Agency Rosatom. The project includes four power units with ‘3+’ generation Russian VVER reactors with increased safety and improved technical and economic features. The design and construction of the power plant is carried out by the engineering department of the Russian State Corporation Rosatom. Each power unit in the NPP will have a capacity of 1200 megawatts.

The Israeli army announced that its latest wave of airstrikes on Iran targeted weapons production sites and surface-to-surface missile infrastructure.
