The city received $2.4 million from a Japanese fund for rubble removal at the earthquake epicenter. Demolition is ongoing in adjacent areas, with 14 million square meters identified as severely damaged. The destruction rate, excluding courthouses, is at 93%. Survivors highlight the need for further investments in infrastructure, sports facilities, parks, shops, and housing projects.
