Ahead of the Balkan Martyrs Commemoration Day, military rehearsal flights took to the skies over Edirne, Türkiye, drawing the attention of local residents. F-16 fighter jets and Bayraktar Akıncı drones flew around the historic Selimiye Mosque in preparation for their official tribute. The upcoming commemoration program will also feature a defense industry exhibition in the mosque square to showcase approximately 50 domestic systems. In addition to the aircraft displays, the event will include Atak helicopter flights and a march by the 57th Regiment.
