US police used a robot cop to catch a criminal who opened fire on them at the hotel room where they tried to approach him Lubbock, Texas. The 39-year-old criminal Felix Delarosa, who had a warrant out for his arrest for a parole violation, tried to throw a sheet over the robot, but the robot cop fired tear gas into his room and neutralized him. Delarosa was then caught by police.
Delarosa was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2017 for manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance and was released from on parole in April 2022.
