A rockfall at a high-speed train construction site in Kayseri’s Kocasinan district left one worker dead and another injured.

The incident occurred in Karakimse, where seven workers were present. Five managed to escape, while one was fatally struck, and another suffered leg fractures. Emergency teams, including AFAD, responded to the scene. Governor Gökmen Çiçek confirmed the details, stating it was not a collapse but falling rocks that caused the casualties. The injured worker was hospitalized and is not in critical condition.
