A video showed a raging camel in the crowds of the Ring Road in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, walking in the opposite direction of cars. The video shows the camel confusing motorists and blocking the road in the opposite direction, as well as a person chasing and attempting to catch the camel.
The runaway camel was brought under control, but it caused damage to a vehicle, authorities said.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara visited the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headquarters in Washington during his talks with US President Donald Trump. He was welcomed by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
Georgieva said on social media, “It was a privilege to host President Al-Shara at the IMF. We discussed the economic transformation Syrians need and deserve, and I reiterated the IMF’s readiness to assist through technical support to key institutions.”
