Russia and Ukraine exchanged 175 prisoners, with Russia also releasing 22 seriously injured Ukrainian soldiers as a goodwill gesture. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the freed Russian soldiers are in Belarus receiving medical and psychological care. The exchange was mediated by the UAE.
