The Russian Defense Ministry announced that a drill was conducted with the “Yars” intercontinental nuclear ballistic missile in the Volga River region.

The Ministry’s Missile Unit carried out the tasks of dispersing the Yars missile launchers into the forest area in order to increase their secrecy, and the units also conducted defense drills against sabotage groups, said the ministry.

The drill was interpreted as a “nuclear warning” and “intimidation to the West.”
