Russia hits Kiev: 1 dead, 11 injured

Hours before the new year, Russia killed 1 and injured 11 with a missile attack carried out on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on Telegram account that the explosions affected the Solomianskyi, Pechersk and Holosiivskyi regions and that a Japanese journalist was amongst the injured. Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office stated that a hotel was also targeted and destroyed in the attack.
