Israeli media revealed that 10 warplanes carried out yesterday’s strike on Hamas officials in Doha, flying 1,800 kilometers through the airspace of Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. The jets fired 10 missiles at a building where Hamas leaders were meeting on a Gaza ceasefire, with the mission lasting 10 minutes and requiring mid-air refueling.
US President Donald Trump said he was informed of the operation but stressed it was Prime Minister Netanyahu’s decision. Calling Qatar “a strong ally,” Trump warned the strike inside the Gulf state did not serve US or Israeli interests, though he said eliminating Hamas remained a “worthy objective.”
