The Russian army struck the 5-storey building in the city of Bakhtum in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine. As a result of the attack, 1 person died and 1 person was injured.
In a statement, Donetsk Governor Pavlo Krilenko said, “As a result of the attack on a 5-storey civilian building in Bakhtum, a 9-year-old boy was seriously injured and the body of a person was found under the rubble. The fire that broke out in the building was brought under control by the teams. Search and rescue teams continue to search for those trapped under the rubble. I once again call on those who are not aware of the danger to evacuate. The Russians have come to destroy our city. Your survival is the most important thing for you right now. The soldiers will do their duty and will drive the invaders away,” he said.
