The 34 telecommunication satellites belonging to British OneWeb company was successfully launched. The Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), which works on sending the rocket into space that will provide internet service, announced that no problems were encountered during the launch.

British company OneWeb announced that 648 satellites are planned to be launched into space by the end of 2022. With the last rocket launched by Russia, 288 OneWeb satellites have been sent into orbit so far.

Train Collision Near Bratislava Injures 18

At least 18 people were injured when two passenger trains collided on a suburban line between Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, and the nearby town of Pezinok. The injured were taken to four hospitals under Bratislava University Hospital.

Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, and Slovak Railways has launched an inquiry. The incident follows another train accident in eastern Slovakia last month that injured 20 people.
