Russia continues to suffer heavy losses in Ukraine. A Ukrainian citizen filmed a convoy of 8 ambulances as they moved towards the Belarusian border. While it was estimated that there were wounded Russian soldiers in the ambulances, in another image, it was seen that the Russian soldiers were transported to a different point in Belarus by train.
Andriy Portnov, former aide to ex-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, was shot dead in Madrid’s upscale Pozuelo de Alarcon district. Spanish authorities say unidentified gunmen opened fire as the 52-year-old was dropping off his children at school, striking him in the back and head before fleeing.
Portnov, a former MP and lawyer, fled Ukraine with Yanukovych in 2014, briefly returned in 2019, and was later sanctioned by the U.S. for alleged judicial corruption.
