A Russian assault on Ukraine’s Zaporizhia region overnight resulted in one fatality and two injuries. Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov confirmed that a 74-year-old woman was killed and two others were wounded in the attacks. Russian forces targeted 12 residential areas, striking the region 161 times within 24 hours, causing damage to infrastructure and buildings. Russia’s continued offensive in Ukraine adds to the escalating toll on civilians and infrastructure.
