An explosion occurred in a cafe in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, leaving one person dead and 16 injured. The Interior Ministry said the person who lost their life was the pro-Vladimir Putin military blogger known as Vladlen Tatarsky. The Russian press claimed that the explosion was caused by a bomb placed inside the statue gifted to Tatarsky by his friends.
In a video he shot at a ceremony held at the Kremlin Palace last year about Russia’s annexation of four regions belonging to Ukraine Tatarsky said, “We will beat everyone, we will kill everyone, we will rob anyone we need. Everything will be as we want.”
