On Sunday, a Russian Navy Improved Kilo Class B-237 “Rostov-na-Donu” submarine, which passed through the Dardanelles strait on Saturday, arrived in the Bosphorus in Turkey at around 11.00 AM local time from the direction of the Marmara Sea. After it passed through the Bosphorus, Rostov-on-Don set off towards to Black Sea.
Lush Garden Survives Massive Forest Fire in Türkiye’s Bursa
A devastating forest fire in Türkiye’s Bursa province reduced 100 hectares to ash, but one garden in Gürsu’s Karahıdır village remained untouched. Despite the destruction, Halil Kiraz’s 25-acre nectar orchard stood green and intact. Kiraz credited his drip irrigation system, firebreak road, regular maintenance, and almsgiving: “Everything turned to ash, but my garden remained green.”
The fire began on July 26, 2025, prompting the evacuation of 1,765 people. Now extinguished, the contrast of Kiraz’s green orchard amid scorched land has drawn widespread attention.
