The withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region has been completed. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense confirmed the completion of the process, stating that after the departure of Russian forces, the Azerbaijani flag was raised at former peacekeeper bases. This marks the end of the Russian peacekeeping mission that began after the 44-day war that started on September 27, 2020 between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
