Russian Scientists Successfully Cultivate Watermelons in Antarctica

Russian scientists have successfully cultivated watermelons in the world’s coldest place, Antarctica’s Vostok station, under a project called “Rastenia”. The feat was achieved in a specially constructed greenhouse over 103 days.
