A Russian attack on a civilian apartment building in Ternopil, western Ukraine, left one person dead and three injured, according to the Ternopil military administration. Flames engulfed several apartments on the building’s top floor, prompting the evacuation of 100 residents.
Regional official Viacheslav Negoda confirmed the casualties, stating, “A residential building was damaged. Unfortunately, there are casualties and serious injuries.” The strike comes amid ongoing hostilities in the nearly three-year war between Russia and Ukraine.
