At least two people were killed and more than 20 injured after Russia launched 219 drones and 25 missiles at multiple locations across Ukraine, officials said. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the main targets were energy facilities in Kyiv, Odesa and Dnipro, adding that most projectiles were intercepted but “not all were destroyed.”
Regional authorities reported injuries in Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa and Kharkiv, while residential buildings and markets were also hit. In southern Ukraine, about 300,000 residents in Odesa were left without electricity and water, according to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba.
