Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions overnight left 5 dead and 19 injured, including 5 children aged 4 to 17. In Zaporizhia, anti-aircraft missiles partially collapsed a two-story building and damaged a nearby dormitory and vehicle. Four of the fatalities were in Mykolaiv and one in Zaporizhia. In response, Ukraine raised its alert level, especially in Kyiv, where power cuts were enforced, and residents sought shelter in metro stations amid warnings of a potential large-scale Russian offensive in the coming months.
