Hotels in Safranbolu, a UNESCO-listed Ottoman-era town in Türkiye, have reached full occupancy for the Ramadan holiday. Known for its well-preserved historic houses and cobblestone streets, the town is a major cultural tourism destination.

Safranbolu Tourism Operators Association (SAFTİD) President Şebnem Urgancıoğlu confirmed the high demand, stating that spring marks the start of the tourism season. “It is normal for the town to be full during such holidays,” she said.

To manage visitor flow, the municipality has set up a welcome center to prevent buses from entering the historic bazaar. Authorities have also implemented security and organizational measures to ensure a smooth holiday experience.
