A severe sandstorm affecting several Iraqi cities has claimed four lives and injured three in a traffic accident near Tuzhurmatu. The crash occurred when two vehicles collided in near-zero visibility.
The storm has impacted areas including Diyala, Kirkuk, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah. Around 400 people have been hospitalized with respiratory issues. Authorities have urged residents, especially those with health conditions, to stay indoors.
