A powerful sandstorm swept through New Mexico, reducing visibility to zero and causing multiple accidents in Roswell, injuring two people.
Streets and highways were engulfed in thick dust, forcing many drivers to abandon their vehicles. Authorities closed roads, and Dexter Fire and Rescue Chief Justin Powell urged residents to stay indoors until conditions improved.
