Citizens in Türkiye’s Şanlıurfa province staged a protest in support of Palestinians. Holding banners in support of Palestine, the protesters began marching in front of the Balıklıgöl campus. To draw attention to the cruelty that Palestine people have been exposed to, the demonstrators wore shoes and displayed children’s toys, all covered in blood-like paint.
“While the oppression continues in Jerusalem, our sacred temple, which has been captured by the representatives of Zionism for more than 100 years, the level of cruelty in Gaza is climbing up each day. Unfortunately, the whole world is turning a deaf ear to the screams of the Palestinian people, who are clearly being subjected to genocide regardless of their age and sex, without regard to human rights. Our pain, reaction, tears, and resistance must be common,” said the protesters.
