A tragic fire broke out on a school bus in Pathum Thani province, Thailand, killing 16 kindergarten students aged 4-5 and 3 teachers. The bus, carrying 38 students and 6 teachers, caught fire on a highway, and many victims were unable to escape. Several others were injured and taken to nearby hospitals. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within an hour, and an investigation into the cause has begun. The 48-year-old bus driver reportedly fled the scene. Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed condolences to the victims’ families.
