The second day of US-mediated trilateral talks between Russia and Ukraine has begun in Geneva, Switzerland, aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation, said working groups are refining the political and military parameters discussed on the first day.
US envoy Steve Witkoff described the initial six-hour session as showing “meaningful progress.” The UK Prime Minister’s Office said Keir Starmer also discussed the Geneva talks with US President Donald Trump.
