In the aftermath of the earthquakes that struck Kahramanmaraş, Serbia has stepped up to offer assistance. On the instruction of President Aleksandar Vucic, a search-and-rescue team of 27 people has been deployed to Türkiye. The team, equipped with 4.5 tons of necessary equipment, will join local efforts to provide aid to those affected by the disaster.
Interior Minister Bratislav Gaic released a statement saying that the team is prepared to support their Turkish counterparts in the field.
