Around 107,000 gathered for another anti-government protest in Serbia over the tragic accident at a train station in the city of Novi Sad that occurred last year, breaking a record in terms of the number of protesters in the country’s history.
Anti-government protests began across the country after 15 people, most of them university students, lost their lives when the concrete porch at the main entrance to the train station in the northern city of Novi Sad collapsed on November 1st, 2024, leading to the resignation of a number of authorities, including Prime Minister Milos Vucevic.
