Seven Dead After Cargo Plane Crashes in Kentucky

At least seven people were killed when a UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Louisville International Airport in Kentucky. Governor Andy Beshear said the number could rise as rescue efforts continue, adding, “We are grieving deeply after a heartbreaking day.” Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg announced that the Big Four Bridge was lit yellow in memory of the victims and urged prayers for the families affected. The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the crash.
