Residents of Portland, Oregon were warned last night that the cold would become more severe. The streets of Reno, Nevada, turned white after a heavy snowfall. Due to poor visibility, Interstate 80 highway in California was closed to traffic. Southern California was hit by thunderstorms over the weekend. Flooding and power outages were reported in some areas.

SpaceX successfully sent 4 astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the Crew-10 mission yesterday.
It was announced that the astronauts would replace NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, who have been stranded on the ISS for approximately 9 months due to a malfunction in the Boeing Starliner spacecraft, and conduct a series of scientific research beneficial to humanity during their time on the ISS.
