On Monday, heavy snowfall crippled daily life in Istanbul, Turkey. Hundreds of people tried to get their home by themselves after busses went out of service getting snowfall worse. His remarks follow an Italian investigation into possible involvement of Italian nationals in these so-called “manhunts.”
Grabovica said the issue first came to light through the documentary Sarajevo Safari, which included protected witnesses describing foreigners using hunting-style rifles to target civilians. He said some visitors came from Italy, the US, Canada, Russia, and Slovenia, and that children were targeted at a higher “price.”
He called the allegations “unbearable” and urged the Milan investigation to fully identify and prosecute those responsible, noting that domestic prosecution in Bosnia has been limited.
