Severe storm toppled trees and damaged buildings in the southeastern state of Alabama, US. The walls of some houses crumbled, and flying roofs were hurled into the streets, Winfield Police Chief Brett Burleson said. “Winfield city center is a dangerous area and there are many teams at the scene” local police warned.
No one was killed or injured in the storm. The damage assessment and cleaning works of the teams continue. Severe storm warnings also remain in place for Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina.
