Images of a robot dog shared by a local resident on Weibo, China’s largest social media platform, have been viewed millions of times. The robot walked around the empty streets with the megaphone on its back, announcing to the residents of the neighborhood that they were required to follow the new Covid-19 measures.
Chinese government has decided to implement curfew due to the increasing Covid-19 cases in the city.
