Unusual landscapes formed as a farmer’s 600 sheep passed through several districts during their 2-month migration journey to reach the Bilbilan Plateau in the Artvin province of Türkiye.

“The migration has started. I have 600 sheep. We will continue to Hopa, Borçka, Artvin and Şavşat,” said Hakan Üçüncü, owner of the flock.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will visit Türkiye on June 19 at President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s invitation. The visit includes the opening of the “Azerbaijan Neighborhood” in Kahramanmaraş, a joint housing project built after the February 2023 earthquake. The leaders will also discuss Türkiye-Azerbaijan ties and regional issues. The ceremony will mark the 250,000th disaster housing delivery, with Erdoğan, Aliyev, and Minister Murat Kurum in attendance.
