The Paris Metropolitan Municipality announced that the fight against global warming and climate change will be carried out, and that in this context, the lights of the capital’s lighted boards and showcases will be turned off outside of working hours. The decisions made in the framework of energy conservation in Paris, France’s capital, went into effect on November 1.
The workplaces that fail to comply with the decision to reduce unnecessary energy consumption will be fined between 750 and 1,500 euros.
