Silo Explosion in Brazil kills 8

A tragic blast at a grain silo in Palotina, Parana, a major grain-producing region in Brazil, has left eight dead and 12 injured. One person is still unaccounted for. The cause of the explosion at the C.Vale Cooperative, along with the type of grain stored, remains under investigation. Brazil’s Agriculture Minister, Carlos Favaro, has publicly expressed his condolences to the bereaved families.
