Five babies in the Remal neighborhood of Gaza City and one in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, reportedly died of cold due to lack of shelter and heating.
Hamas officials said in a written statement that the infant deaths were the result of the Israeli government’s criminal policies, which include blocking the delivery of humanitarian aid and shelter, and called on the mediating countries to take immediate action to prevent Israel from violating the ceasefire agreement and to facilitate the entry of basic necessities into Gaza.
