A traditional Father’s Day competition was held in Erzurum’s world-famous Palandöken Ski Center in mid-June. A total of 90 ski lovers competed for prize money on the 1 kilometer long northern track at the summit.
We organized a colorful race on the Ejder track in Palandöken in beautiful weather and the participation rate was quite high. “The fact that there is still skiing in Erzurum while swimming in the west reveals the magnificence of Palandöken,” said Atakan Alaftargil, President of the Turkish Ski Foundation, which organizes the race.
