A small plane crashed on a highway and caught fire while attempting to make an emergency landing near the city of Beersheba in the Najaf Desert in southern Israel. A man and a woman on the plane died in the accident. The road was closed to traffic.
The Israeli army struck Syrian military tanks, rocket launchers, and armed vehicles advancing toward the Druze-majority city of Sweida. The IDF stated it also hit access roads used for barricades and is continuing operations in line with political directives, monitoring threats to Druze civilians.
