A small plane carrying 4 people crashed into a building shortly after taking off in Connecticut, USA. The plane Citation 560X was headed to Dare County Regional Airport in Manteo, North Carolina. There was a mechanical failure on the plane, officials said. No one was in the building where the jet crashed and set the area on fire, but all passengers and crew were killed in the site of the accident.

Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has been taken to The Hague, Netherlands, to stand trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) on charges of crimes against humanity related to his war on drugs.
Duterte was detained at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport upon his return from Hong Kong, following an ICC request. The court confirmed his transfer after his plane landed in Rotterdam. He is expected to appear before a judge in the coming days.
