A small Honda HA-420 jet skidded off the runway and crashed into the water while landing at Southwest Oregon Regional Airport.
The crash occurred at 06:12 local time. All five onboard—one pilot and four passengers—were rescued with injuries. The aircraft drifted 30 meters offshore and was recovered four hours later with a crane.
The US Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation.
