A Cessna 172 type plane crashed on the town of Kwachocha on the Mombasa highway in Malindi on the coast of Kenya and caught fire. Police announced that 3 people, including 2 drivers, were killed by pieces from the plane’s wings and tail. Meanwhile, the pilot and 2 students on the plane survived with injuries by jumping out of the plane before the crash.

It was reported that the plane had a technical problem and was trying to make an emergency landing.
