Despite the arrival of the spring season, the peaks of the high mountains and the plateaus on the slopes in Gümüşhane, the city with the highest number of plateaus in the Eastern Black Sea region of Türkiye, have been covered by snow again. In Spider Forests, where Europe’s tallest firs and the Balkans, Caucasus and Turkey’s tallest and largest spruces are located, snowflakes and fog covering hundreds of years-old trees and high plateaus have formed unique landscapes.
