Heavy snowfall created postcard-like views on Yaralıgöz Mountain in Kastamonu, northern Türkiye, where snow depth exceeded 1.5 meters at elevations of 1,250 meters. Drone footage showed snow-covered wooden houses and forests, turning the area into a popular spot for photography enthusiasts.
Lecturer Hikmet Haberal said the region stands out for its natural beauty and biodiversity, adding, “Yaralıgöz Mountain has donned its wedding dress with the snowfall.” The mountain connects several districts and offers trekking, camping, and winter nature routes despite harsh conditions.
