The first snow of the season fell on Jerusalem. Officials in the city expect a 15 centimeters of snow, where the al-Masjid al-Aqsa is covered in snow. Authorities warned citizens to be careful due to bad weather conditions, and stated that citizens should avoid snow masses. Authorities also announced that heavy snowfall is expected in Jerusalem and high parts of the West Bank.

A Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s capital Kiev killed 14 people, including a 62-year-old US citizen, and injured 60 others. Ukrainian officials said 27 locations in the city were hit overnight, damaging apartments, schools, and key infrastructure. Fires broke out across the capital. President Zelenskyy condemned the assault as “pure terrorism,” stating Russia launched over 440 drones and 32 missiles nationwide. One person also died in Odessa. Ukraine called on the US and Europe for a stronger response.
