Severe snowstorm hit Denmark’s Aalborg, causing vehicles stuck on roads. Snow depth reached 30 centimeters in the evening. Six customers and about 24 staff spent the night sleeping on beds and armchairs in the store. “We slept in the furniture aisles and in the first-floor sections that our beds, armchairs, and sofa beds are set” Store Manager Peter Elmose said. According to Danish media, employees at a toy store next to IKEA also spent the night inside during the snowstorm.
