Güneş has produced more than 500 works since being introduced by the craft in 2013 and now works from his own studio.
He describes philography as a wire-and-nail technique with Ottoman roots, often used for rehabilitation programs. Güneş also teaches children through a social responsibility project that brings art activities to village schools. He says the project, “There’s Art Far Away,” aims to introduce art to students in remote areas and preserve cultural heritage.
