SpaceX, an American spacecraft manufacturer, launcher, and satellite communications corporation founded by US businessman Elon Musk, sent 40 more internet satellites belonging to London-based communications firm OneWeb into orbit. The Falcon-9 rocket carrying the satellites was successfully launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 11:50 p.m. local time. With the new satellites sent into orbit, it is aimed to increase the capacity of OneWeb to provide internet service.

The event was attended by Turkish Ambassador Birol Akgün, Military Attaché Brig. Gen. Gaffar Gören, TRNC Representative Ufuk Turganer, embassy staff, students, and parents. The program began with a moment of silence and the singing of the Turkish and Azerbaijani national anthems, followed by student performances including dances, poetry, and live music.
